Anika Larsen (b. 1996) is a Danish-American artist, born in California and based in Copenhagen. She earned her BFA from New York University in 2018. Her practice spans sculpture, installation, and photography—including fashion, portraiture, and art photography—exploring the body as both a site of agency and constraint.

She investigates tensions between rigidity and elasticity, permanence and distortion—materials that embody the paradoxes of contemporary existence. Where does agency end and coercion begin? Her work forces us to confront the discomfort of our own reflection—our willingness to stretch, compress, and manipulate ourselves in pursuit of an unattainable ideal.
