Anika Larsen founded PLEASURE GROUND in 2020. The upcycled project is a living, breathing act of refusal. A refusal of fast fashion’s churn, of disposability, of the idea that clothing is anything less than a language of resistance and reinvention. Play is political. Thrifted fabrics unravel and reform, bearing the imprint of process, touch, and time. Every garment is a site of becoming—an experiment, a reclamation, a gesture of care for both the body and the world it moves through.
